Located in 19 Council Street, St Peters, NSW, the Flipped House is designed for a couple without child. The existing heritage facades are left untouched, while the non-heritage part - the back of the house and the interior spaces are refined. To maximumly utilize the north façade facing towards Caroline Ln, bedrooms are located in the space near the Council Street, while two gardens locate in the back of the house and the middle of the house to provide great views to all spaces in the house. As client required, one studio is added on the first floor and connected to living room with one open walkway. Sufficient blinds and shading devices ensure the house has adequate daylight while not over-heated in summer.
